Ash Creek Outfitters offers mule deer hunting on 100,000 acres of private land in both South Dakota and Nebraska. Our ranches have repeatedly produced trophies that have measured between 22" to 28" and some have been larger. The habitat is ideal with rough canyons connecting upland corn to a variety of river and creek bottom crop fields. Our south central ranch is located in the district where the Nebraska state record was harvested. We aggressively restrict point limits and we always have a steady supply of trophy bucks.

All mule deer hunting will take place with our guides using canyon overlooks and the spotand stalk method applying fair chase guidelines. Much of our mule deer hunting will require walking so our clients need to arrive in good physical condition.

Rifle success rates should be in the range of 85% to 100%, with archery and muzzleloader success rates being less. It is tough tofind a quality mule deer hunt today and Ash Creek Outfitters is proud to produce trophy mule deer at all of our South Dakota and Nebraska locations. It is not uncommon to see 5-10 trophy quality bucks in one day of hunting.
